General Chairperson East
I am a third generation railroad worker and have been with Amtrak since 1977. During my career I have held virtually every OBS position in addition to Onboard Chief and Crew Base Supervisor. In 1997 I was appointed District Representative of HERE and eventually elected to the position of General Chairperson East for UNITE HERE. During my tenure with the union I fought diligently for the rights and conditions of Amtrak workers and have testified twice before Congress regarding Amtrak’s Food & Beverage losses. I am a dedicated husband, brother and the father of three children and five grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and am an avid barbecue enthusiast.
