I have worked at Amtrak for 30 years. I started in Boston working Northeast Corridor before transferring to Chicago in 1991. I worked long hauls for 10 years and switched to short distance. I have worked on Safety Committees in the past. I have been a trustee for I believe 3 elections (about 10 years). I will continue to work for 1-2 more years. In my final years, I want to enjoy my work with my compatriots and help the union. I believe we have a good mix of experience and fresh faces to continue with the work of the union and also improve our impact with our members and the company.
