Ballots were sent out last week to be voted on by the membership to determine if Local 43 will merge with Local 23. Please return the ballots by November 30, 2018 to be counted on December 3, 2018. Last week your union stood with brothers and sisters in NYC to protest the “Cold Cut Express”. We are diligently fighting to keep our jobs as President Anderson (Amtrak) continues his plan to outsource 1700 of them. The fight is far from over and we plan for all your concerns to be heard in the following months. Until then, know that we here at Local 43 have got your back.
